Can anyone comment on RF/Microwave output for the i-Credit 500 model.

Any experiences or suggestions for an RF shield around these things. E.g. covering with aluminum foil, lining inside walls etc.

I think these use a similar frequency to mobile phone towers.

In an experiment I did years ago, I put my mobile phone inside a microwave oven (without turning the oven on, of course!). I then proceeded to call my mobile phone from my home phone. To my surprise, the mobile phone still had reception!

So I think you would need a very good faraday cage around your meter box to stop the radio waves from the smartmeter.
