Please post your experience if you had a new smart meter installed. You may mention your suburb, date, time, distributor.

But for your security, please do not mention any names, phone numbers, addresses or other private information.

I found that United Energy these days distributed a lot of letters in Noble Park Victoria,,,saying basically to customers of these areas that they are coming very soon,,meaning the new dangerous devices easy convertible to managing button for power usage and surveillance device for listening people's home activities will be imposed on people without their consent.
This is real NORTH KOREA,,,we do not need imnaginationa of nuclerar threats from N Korea,,we are threatened here,,our lives are not in our hands..corporate mongrels can mutilate and dissect our privacies as they like and how they like..WHERE IS PRIVACY IN AUSTRALIA,,,DEAD!!!!

I live in Indianapolis, IN. The power company here put a smart meter on my house at (3 or 4 AM) the middle of the night. They never informed me that this was going to take place. When the power went off my computers shut down causing me to lose a lot of work I was doing at the time. When I called them about it they told me they have the right to do this. Do I have any recourse? Wed, 13 Nov 2013 03:52 am

I accepted a smart meter on the basis that the new meters were safe and only transmitted 4 times a day for a few seconds. Why is my smart meter flashing with activity all the time? God help us! Mon, 17 Mar 2014 06:00 pm

The winner is still Jim. Why? Jim speed is fasetr than Joe. If we calculate for the last 10 meters. Lets calculate them like the first 100. When it was 100 : 100- 90= 10. But if we calculate for 10: 10-9= 1. Jim wins by 1 meter. Tue, 30 Jun 2015 06:40 pm

I live in Memphis and work for the against smart meter group.
The smart meters were developed by the Obama Administration indirectly. They are from globalism. Obama asked about a smart grid and his people said "but we don't have anything to do it with." Obama said Well, let's develop something to do it with. It is in the new book "The New New Deal". They are of no value. You do not save energy. Instead you are watched. The utility knows when you leave and come home. There days you have chips in your appliances that communicate with the meter. For example, your electric toothbrush has one. That information can be sent to your dental insurance company and this can affect your bill! They watch in ways you can't imagine. They double bills and caused several horrible fires here. Wake Up America.
Lloyds of London is no longer insuring for them. Watch out people!
